HA, what a load of crap. Steans says she resigns to be with her mother who has Alzheimer’s. Remember, Steans family is billionaire class. She might spend some time with her mom but they have hired the best care they can get. Secondly, rumors are she will go work for the governor…..wait, I thought she was resigning to care for her mom…..and then the real reason. She worked closely with Cullerton, supported a challenger to Harmon who won. He is clouting her out of power so she is taking her ball and going home.
