Illinois lawmakers want to ban ‘Grand Theft Auto’ amid spike in carjackings – FOX32 (Chicago)

Working with a philanthropist, state Rep. Marcus Evans has drafted legislation to amend a 2012 law preventing some games, including GTA, from being sold to children in Illinois. Different versions of GTA have been banned or censored in five different countries, but never in the United States.

This is so outrageous, stand up like men Illinois lawmakers and admit it has to do with one thing and one thing only, these thugs punks etc are all a reflection of there parents and upbringing period. Stop the blame game and finger pointing, point the fingers at the right group of people the parents.

What do you mean? Banning young people from watching Trevor and Michael on GTA won’t stop the carjackings? This idea is so laughable that I don’t feel guilty chuckling. As you say, parents just might have something to do with this?
