Hopefully he’ll throw his hat in the ring to run against Tammy for the Junior Senator seat. By separating himself from Trump, he may have made himself an acceptable choice for centrist voters appalled by the current administration’s embrace of all things left. He can do a lot of good for the state and the country in that role.
Kinzinger is the rep in my district. I fired off an email after he voted with the demoncrats about more ridiculous firearm restrictions. He, or his office, wrote back some pablum about what a loyal conservative he is an how the new proposed gun laws will not affect most firearm owners blah, blah, blah. Voted to impeach the best president in my lifetime, voted to restrict my 2nd Amendment right even tho I have trained my firearms to be well behaved and replies with gibberish how he is a conservative and protecting my values.
