Whether Illinois overspent does not have to be a subjective argument. Governments and insurers quantify the values of (“saving”) human lives as VSL (‘Value of a statistical Life’) or ‘quality-adjusted life years’ all the time. (See great articles on this by Conover at TheApothecary). QALY=$120,000 in US (That is price of 1 year dialysis). (Britain values a QALY at ~$40,000; that is monetary threshold to pay for new drugs.) People need to understand that Pritzker is all about destroying the state of Illinois in order to “build back better”. Everything he does ties into United Nations agenda 21 in the world economic forum goals.
