Thousands Of CPS Students Return To Classrooms In April. Will Schools Have Enough Staff? – WBEZ (Chicago)

Troy LaRaviere, the head of the Chicago Principals and Administrators Association, said many schools are so short-staffed that principals “dread” if even one staff member scheduled to work the building calls in sick.“The only reason that things are not breaking down is because so few students showed up to this school. So if indeed, more students show up, we’re going to have even more trouble than we have now.”

They should have been in school 6 months ago. Now they start in April and the school year will end on time in early June. Those kids were going to have a hard time competing before Covid, but after losing a year of schooling, forget it. When do the chants for Covid reparations start?
