A statement from the Park District reads in part, “The agreement calls for the District to maintain the statue and obtain approval from the JCCIA before making any substantial changes to the statue or plaza. No substantial changes were made to the statue or plaza therefore the Chicago Park District is not in violation of the agreement.”
A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
