Pritzker to Revise Orders on Mask-Wearing After New CDC Guidance Released – NBC5 (Chicago)

“I firmly believe in following the science, and will revise my executive orders in line with CDC guidelines lifting additional mitigations for vaccinated people,” Pritzker said. “The scientists’ message is clear: if you are vaccinated, you can safely do much more.”

Just for craps and giggles the next time one of the dear readers of Wirepoints has a discussion with someone who says “follow the science “, just ask them if they believe in the thousands of years science that says there are only two genders and watch them melt down.

It is going to be interesting as those who are fully vaxed get re-infected with Covid19, yet are asymptomatic (Like the Yankees and Bill Maher this week). Scientists, who were quickly canceled by social media to silence them, have suggested that the vaccine developed is more of a prophylactic. Scientists who also talked about asymptomatic spread, or lack thereof, were also canceled. Just this week, after continued questioning Fauci finally admitted that only half of the employees at CDC and NIH have been vaxed. We need to open our eyes – the pandemic was politicized by Democrats and manipulated by… Read more »

My genuine concern is that when (because it will) this happens (reinfection and the return of the flu) we will do this “phase dance” all over again.

The fully vaxxed getting reinfected but asymptomatic seems to me like an artefact of the testing process giving a false positive.

Could be, but they had to quarantine. Would be nice to talk about the science of asymptomatic spread or lack thereof – now that the election is over hopefully Democrats and social media allow this discussion to occur for the sake of public health and not partisan politics.

I just visited the CDC’s VAERS database. It is actually really easy to use, and free. I filtered for COVID ‘vaccine’ deaths by month for 2021 (a lag in reporting has data only through May 7th at this point). If you guessed 3,919 deaths this year, you’d be correct. 3,919 people have died from the vaccines and nothing in the news media? This is tragic. I feel very sorry for those who have lost loved ones. The deaths are greater than all vaccine-related deaths during the LAST 20 YEARS COMBINED!!! Makes me wonder how many deaths are acceptable to people?… Read more »

I think you are not representing the data correct, these people died with Covid present but not because of the vaccine. read the whole story first.

Nice to know he believes in following the science, he doesn’t seem to believe in following the law.

You know the CDC did not lift mask mandates because of science (there never was any). They lifted mask mandates because Beijing Biden’s gas crisis, Middle East crisis, inflation crisis, and the border crisis has engulfed his administration. They desperately needed to change the news cycle. COVID was a plandemic. The number of cases highly inflated and the deaths were as well. Hospitals had an financial incentive to label COVID as a cause of death and the medical community blocked effective medications from being used in early stages. Most people that caught the virus, and I know many, had mild… Read more »

Two months ago, Beijing Biden called repeal of the mask mandates in Texas, Mississippi and elsewhere as “Neanderthal thinking”. Yet, cases precipitously dropped. Three weeks ago the CDC Director teared up at the horror of Texas dropping their mask mandate. Cases continued to drop. Two weeks ago the CDC still “required” vaccinated people to continue to wear masks. Earlier this week the CDC quietly lowered the cycle threshold of the PCR test to detect COVID infections making it far less likely for people to test positive. And now they are no longer recommending masks. Why the sudden changes? Does anybody… Read more »

I just found out the CDC paid Wuhan $7.4 Million dollars in 2018 and 2019.

The Overton Window should be slammed all the way back resulting in Nuremberg Trials for everyone involved.

I absolutely believe this will happen, maybe not in my lifetime but at some point.

“Looks Like The Biden Admin Has Just Kicked Fauci to the Curb” https://www.revolver.news/2021/05/dr-fauci-you-are-done-here/ What happened to the almighty Dr. Fauci? Last week he was on TV telling all of us that life wouldn’t get back to normal for at least another year or so, and this week he’s pretty much gone. So what happened? Well, a lot, actually. The biggest turn for Fauci involves 3 little words: Gain of Function. It was this past week when the “gain of function” dots were publicly connected to the good doctor. This is nothing new for those of us on the right. Here… Read more »

Get new material, Jay. “Follow the science” is so 2020. Typical Illinois: even our evil overlords are subpar boot lickers.

Get ready for the Gestapo at the front door of local stores checking for your vaccination papers. Pritzker’s communist party handing the dirty work over to communist compliant local businesses!

Jabba believes in science whenever it supports his thirst for power and control. When it doesn’t, he says he knows better and enacts controls he deems necessary. The guy is a control freak.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. Audio here.
