Editorial: 415 million more reasons Springfield should say no to an elected Chicago school board – Chicago Sun-Times*

"That’s $415.4 million, to be exact — the amount of money the City of Chicago kicked into the Chicago Public Schools’ budget for fiscal year 2021. Good luck collecting that kind of cash in the future, no matter how pressing the need, if Chicago’s chief executive — the mayor — no longer has authority over the public schools."

So the editorial opinion is : Crony-Socialist TIF money is only obtainable if Crony Socialist Regimes are allowed to stay empowered. The trickle of TIF funds dribbled to schools by Regime in power would be threatened if the Regime is disrupted.

Any opinion on simply shutting down the Crony Socialism Regime TIF policy which takes exponentially more than $415m annually?
