Good times rolling again for downtown Chicago apartment landlords – Crain’s*

After dropping as low as 86.5 percent at the end of 2020, the downtown occupancy rate rebounded to 91.1 percent in the first quarter, according to Integra. That’s still a few percentage points below 2019 levels, but you won’t hear many landlords complaining.

We are stuffed, Chicago will never be what it was.
I had friends planning to come here for the summer.
I advised, you need a bullet proof vest and a hard hat.
Suffice to say they are going to Florida instead.
