Several cops have recently started talking about a new policy coming out of Kim Foxx’s office to the effect that she won’t prosecute a shooting murder unless there are two eyewitnesses to the act. Someone ought to ask her publicly about that. If that is true, it is comical. Not that many murderers like to kill with a lot of people watching. And in Chicago, the likelihood of getting witnesses to testify is also demonstrably close to zero. So if the word gets out on the street, it is going to be a nasty summer.
