The 70-41 vote by the Democratic-controlled chamber followed Senate approval two weeks ago. The mayor’s office objected that the bill, among other things, did not restrict CTU leaders from running for the board, did not allow residents who lack citizenship from voting for and seeking board seats, and did not address about $500 million that City Hall gives to CPS, largely for pensions.
I still think she’s playing possum. However, it reminds me of the Chicago Olympic fiasco. The slick billiard room boys were going to pants the rubes from the jungles. The Obama contingent thought buying their way with eBay gift cards would cover everything. Little or nothing did they know.

If IL’s largest city has no power in Springfield, who has all the power?
It’s the progressives. They control the state, not the largest city.
You spelled “regressive” wrong.
Chinese communists control IL via election fraud and extorted, bought off politicians. Don’t forget the paid off celebs to trumpet the BS.
