Really? Metra considers reaching 19 percent of the previous average an achievement? With “leadership” like that Metra is headed for bankruptcy. They need to be CUTTING service to match the actual ridership.

My last Metra ride was out of downtown Chicago over four years ago. I left Illinois the very next day. I don’t miss it AT ALL!

Although I’m sure even at reduced ridership levels trains will be delayed due to switching problems and riders stranded at Union or Oglilvie, just like old times.

Great! Last week we had 10 riders, this week 20! I’m long retired, never watch the news. Has enough auto traffic returned that we have rush hour type congestion again? Back in my days, the Kennedy was a mess all day, everyday. Then we didn’t have the dice boys playing desert Fox.
