Platoons that can’t chase criminals on foot or by vehicle, can’t use unjustified legal force, can’t use tasers, and lose qualified immunity if they injure someone in the course of an arrest.
A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
