What a great idea! I woke up this morning in a rapture of wokeness! I’m going to buy one of those Rivian electric vehicles! I hope they run forever! They’re ugly enough. These look like Soviet designs from the 50’s when all their cars looked like train engines, big headlight in the center of the front end.

Great timing! It will coincide with the lead water pipe replacement. A thunderous round of well done for everyone. Considering the frequency of mass shootings will anyone be alive to appreciate all the hard work. Anyone robbing CPS today?

Emissions reductions will be made by making the average person poorer and less able to travel freely. Prior to the industrial revolution, the overwhelming majority of people were born, lived and died in the same county, and few people ever traveled at all. That’s why it was a big deal to go to war, or join a crew of a trading ship, or be a merchant, because it was one of the few ways to see the world. That’s the kind of world they want for us today.

If China and India are not on board with major reductions, which they are not, this will not slow emissions growth of the planet in any meaningful way. It will only destroy our economy while they grow theirs without boundaries. Make our economy more expensive to function and not competitive and therefore not able to grow. Great idea Marxist fools.

The only thing raising the earth’s temperature is all the hot air coming from the green idiots and the politicians. Let’s go back to the cave man days, life will be better.

Have progressives ever had a concrete thought and put it in writing? Another article full of the same blah blah blah that conveys nothing.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
