Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. I hate the CDC as much as the next guy, and they’re totally wrong, but it’s a losing battle to ask local schools to disregard the freakin’ CDC in the middle of a pandemic. Some states will do so, and I am happy those places exist, but asking IL schools to disregard the CDC’s recommendations, as ridiculous as they are, is not a winning battle in most cases.
We’re not in a pandemic. China virus is now endemic. i.e., it’s here to stay and not going away. eradication is not possible and never will be.
If you don’t disregard the whims of corrupt institutions you will live on your knees.
👍👍👍
Never was a pandemic. More a plandemic.
