Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. I watched her posted video. Clearly she’s attempting to cash-in for some “victim compensation” cash for “police brutality”, despite the flipped script here, where her two man-child angels are the cold-blooded, red-handed, absolutely-guilty-as-charged murderers here. She looks all of 35, teen-mom fashion-girl, gang-momma, and poses for the camera, boobs on display, and signals her intention to “cause a scene”, on camera, in hospital, likely to garner herself to become “Floyd Family SJW Martyr of 2021” role-winner. Where’s her “go fund me” site? Funny how BLM hasn’t adopted her two boys as their Summer 2021 mission. Not even Chicago’s BLM SJW… Read more »
True Dem to the core. “Live-streaming” her tirade hoping to get the race baiters activated to distract from her spawn’s carnage. Absolute trash.
Lock her loser a– up as well. Nothing to add to society!
Was she on bail too?
Wow how come the dad didn’t storm into the hospital with her? Does he not care too?
Which baby daddy???
Her sons are good boys, victims of shitstemic racism, and they were working hard to become contributing members of society, doctors and sundry experts. We, society, are the oppressors and must make amends to poor gun-toting gang bangers. The slain 29 y/o peace officer Ella French gets no gold coffin and very few outside of the NW side of Chitown know her name. Who’s going to burn down cities for her memory? Will George Floyd monuments be toppled over this for years to come? Where are those who demanded justice for George?
Sounds like a real fine lady. Any father around? A mother of two boys at age 20? Great tats on your two sons. A graduate of the Chicago Public Schools?. And the two fine boys — graduates of the Chicago Public Schools? Dropouts? So it is not OK to talk about family disintegration? Any structure at all for these two guys growing up? Maybe it is time to focus on what is the real cause of these problems. And it isn’t ghost gun buyers from Indiana or systemic racism. It is family structure that has evaporated.
Scum
Bingo, criminal justice major here, that’s what one of my smarter professors (ex-cop) said was the cause, I think it too.
It’s more than just family, although that’s a major part of it. Family alone isn’t enough to stop to the allure of the thug life, which provides guns, and drugs, and women, money, respect…Was this guy ever really going to take some laborious menial job working his butt of 9-5 for a paycheck every two weeks, or was he going to thug and rob his way to glory? The answer is pretty clear now and the man was going full thuggery, but his achilles heel was his lack of self-control. He was being pulled over for expired plates and apparently… Read more »
I truly agree. I’m 43 years old and I was a part of the thug lifestyle in the 90’s. There were many influences that guided me in that direction. I’m not proud for my choices back then, but I am grateful that I didn’t die or go to jail. It’s sad to say it but my generation was kinda like the beginning of extreme dysfunctional family methods of raising children. We were babies having babies and the streets raised these babies, because we were poor parents that often condone to the “ street life” antics and promoted it like it… Read more »
These guys won’t work a menial job. They typically make so many bad life decisions that it is difficult to find a job much less keep one. It goes beyond an easy money mentality. I get that the younger generation thinks tattoos are ok and a way to self express. But really, how many jobs working with the public is this guy shut off from? Theodore Dalrymple (psuedonym for a psychiatrist in England), among many other things notes the impact of the choice to get an aggressive tattoo. He also reflects on the underclass, with invariably the lack of family… Read more »
Kudos to Dalrymple – his book and essay on British underclass is well worth reading by all Wirepoints followers.
