Yes, that’s so typically Chicago political think: PAY parents to ACT as parents. If a parent chooses a school that’s not within neighborhood, then that parent should either drive their child to that school, or require their middle-school child to use a CTA pass to do so. What a lot of molly-coddling of delinquent CPS parents.
Buses? When I was a kid I walked 1.5 miles, uphill, both ways.
Basically when we were kids we all walked to school, rain,snow, put on your goo lashes, rain coat hit the road if you were on a bus it was the jolley trolley (CTA) . If you were fortunate to be on a school bus you had money. Children are spoiled beyond belief today.

If black lives really did matter the CPS would just keep them at home where they would not get shot.
We can then eliminate the CPS altogether. Just think of the lives (and tax dollars) that would be saved!!

Unbelievable– news radio WBBM-780 is repoting CPS is appoching Uber & Lyft to bus kids. Are the uber/lyft drivers required to be vaccinated??

Omg, this is what +$27,000 per student/ per year buys you??. Or maybe cps realizes the # of kids not showing up on monday is going to be astronomical and this is literally paying parents to send the kiddies back to cps & the ctu socialist…a $9.3 billion train wreck
