Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. Chicago is beautiful, go out a mile on the lake and look at the skyline. Driving LSD also provides some nice scenery! Interior of the city not so much, it’s dirty, crime ridden and stinks!

Communists always destroy everything that is beautiful and nice. They’ve nearly succeeded destroying Chicago. It’s unlikely many of those surveyed have visited Chicago in the preceding 18 months since our leaders began their destruction in earnest.
