A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
Bold policy? More like highly delusional policy!
This is what happens when the students run the school. Instead of a teacher-mentor stepping in, the students feel Zorn’s columns somehow ‘harmed’ them. They make say they want diversity, but diversity of thought? NO!
If the students are so insecure and sensitive to anything written with which they don’t 100% agree, my advice to them is: Grow Up!
Chicago can’t keep the Bears. More businesses will leave for the suburbs too.
I wonder if they touted the wonderful labor unions in Chicago that will embrace and care for their employees too!
A straight-up business would want a business-friendly state for relocation or expansion. But, if the business feeds from the social policies, or wants to be bailed-out, then Illinois might be considered.
To the extent meaningful, in Texas the minimum wage is $3.75 per hour less than Illinois.
I bet they don’t bring up stories about crime like those covered in CWB Chicago in their sales pitch.

Illinois offers taxpayer funded abortions and massive state and local unfunded pension and retiree healthcare liabilities (net pension liabilities and net OPEB liabilities).
Because Illinois can afford taxpayer funded abortions.
That’s why compassionate Illinois made it the law.
Kinda of like all those student loan and credit card applications college kids receive in the mail.
No credit history, no problem.
Money for nothing for awhile.
Because tomorrow never comes in utopia.
