Lightfoot says ‘they will be vaccinated’ as Chicago police union fights mandate – FOX32 (Chicago)

FOP President John Catanzara Jr. said the unions are committed to "exhausting all options to protect our members rights." But the mayor said, "It is foolish, foolish to be trying to take a victory lap when so much is at stake. Unfortunately, that is in keeping with the leadership of the Fraternal Order of Police. They will be vaccinated."

The idea that these people are OBSESSED with vaccination should be a colossal red flag for anyone, even those that are vaccinated and don’t really care what happens to other people.

Lori appears very firm in demanding all city employees! How does she exempt the alderman? Are they city employees, paid by the city, retirement funded by the city? How’s that work? Lori?

Mandating vaccines in lieu of immune response testing is like mandating abortion in lieu of pregnancy testing.

Now with Merck morning-after-COVID-pill:
Mandating vaccines in lieu of alternative treatments is like mandating penetrative insertional abortion in lieu of morning-after pill.

A brief recap of what should now be widely known re the jabs: They don’t provide immunity from China virus (not vaccines) They don’t keep you from getting China virus They don’t keep you from spreading China virus Their leaky nature can create more drug resistant variants What protection they may offer is short lived They are still experimental therapies (are not FDA approved) They can be dangerous and deadly to those receiving them There are zero long term safety studies There is no recourse against the manufacturer There are safe and effective (and cheap) alternative therapies So why are… Read more »

Good darned questions that fly in the face of the mob – as evidenced by the number of negatives on your post.
Statistics show both vaccinated and unvaccinated can contract and spread the virus, yet unvaccinated are singled out as being every nasty thing under the sun.
To the negatives attached to the above post I say, “Wake the hell up!”

I’m surprised so many Biden zombies visit this site. I agree 100% with your assessment. Short story how idiotic people are about the jab. Friends live in AZ, husband, wife and son, all got the shot. Husband and son both end up in hospital ICU with Covid. The woman talks to my wife yadda, yadda, yadda get the shot (we havent) and then incredibly says the only people in the hospital are unvaccinated people while her husband and son are in ICU with Covid. You just cant make stupid up.

It’s not about the vaccine. It’s about discovering who is and who isn’t a threat to the regime. Take the jab and you are compliant. Don’t take the jab and you’re a threat to the power of the ruling Democrat party. We live in a state of anarcho-tyranny. The Democrat regime, from the White House all the down to the local school board, is concerned only enforcing its narrow social and cultural mandates upon the unwilling population. It has no interest in performing basic governance duties. It believes that strictly and ruthlessly enforcing progressives values IS the only governance duty… Read more »

The cops and firefighters dont realize what power they have over the mayor. How about a 2 or 3 day “sickout” for both departments and let’s see what happens.

No problem – Lightfoot said the city is safe, so their absence shouldn’t cause any undo stress.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
