Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. The state’s existing buyout program for its own pensions is the precedent for Chicago, which should be a warning: Look out for similar exaggerated claims and shoddy analysis.

Please note that Preckwinkle’s DIL was recently arrested for MURDER. Her son’s been arrested multiple times too. Chicago’s crime issues hit too close to home for Toni, for the wrong reasons.
This is a dumb question but why is a Forest Preserve Police Officer providing detail to a County Board President at 8pm at her home? Do all county commissioners get this level of detail? I’ve also seen conflicting reports of whether or not the officer was on duty or not. Reeks of malfeasance. Someone should look into it.
That’s probably why it took weeks for it to come out, needed to get their story straight first.

Preckwinkle wasn’t person threatened here. Preckwinkle, and JB, and Lightfoot, and probably Foxx, all have big security details that provide cover-to-cover armed protection 24/7 at taxpayers’ expense. Easy to be a limousine liberal, with your private platoon.
Sounds like the police can use the “Cinderella Method” to crack this case wide open. Simply try the recovered Nike Air Jordan on local carjackers until they find the evil doer. Then Lil Kim can lecture the guilty party on the importance of properly tying your Jordan’s and send him on his way.
Why was this not reported when it happened?
The Chicago media only reports fake or agenda advancing news. This really happened and does not help the narrative. That is why any serious person does not pay for any legacy Chicago “media”, and only supports Wirepoints, CWB Chicago and a few others.
Because it doesn’t fit narrative that all crime-reports are grossly exaggerated and racist.
