Both the Illinois House and Senate have approved a change to the Illinois Health Care Right of Conscience Act that was championed by Illinois Governor Pritzker. The Illinois Health Care Right of Conscience Act prohibits discrimination against anyone for objecting to a medical procedure for religious reasons. The law will be amended to specifically state that people can’t use religious reasons to bypass any of Pritzker’s covid mandates, including the mask, vaccine, and testing mandates. Dems couldn’t lift a finger to protect IL citizens from a tyrannical governor. Quite the opposite. They decided they need to protect a tyrannical governor from legal action by citizens.
