Twitchy has a column knocking the Chicago Sun-Times about it, but at least the Sun-Times later caught on and corrected it.
Some guy going by “Brandon Lesco” was widely quoted supporting Kyle Rittenhouse outside the Kenosha courthouse during last week’s trial, and most still have not caught on. Reuters, NBC, Los Angeles Times and many, many others fell for it. Even the Wall Street Journal.
“’I felt like I was on trial in there,’ said Brandon Lesco,” according to the Journal and others “’It vindicates me and my belief system,’ he said.”
It’s about “Let’s go Brandon,” if you haven’t been keeping up on this.
