Federal judge blocks health care worker vaccine mandate nationwide – WICS (Springfield)

Judge Terry A. Doughty granted a preliminary injunction to the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services mandate which stipulates that any employee of a facility that participates in Medicaid or Medicare must be fully vaccinated by Jan. 4. The CMS mandate covers 76,000 medical facilities and 17 million employees nationwide, including nursing homes.
