Masks off by holidays? Pritzker likely taking back his ‘gift’ – Illinois Policy

New COVID-19 cases have surged across Illinois, leading some state leaders to question why the only state east of the Mississippi with a universal mask mandate is seeing worse case rates than those without a mandate.

Honestly, don’t need a gift from Pritzker he doesn’t control my life, last time I looked I still live in a free country and I plan to keep it that way

This will be another example of King Pritzker ignoring the science when it doesn’t support his edict. There have been plenty of examples throughout history where people blindly followed their dear leader right off a cliff. Jabba’s ego will never allow him to admit he’s been wrong all along. We’ve heard throughout the pandemic how states that did not mandate masks were doomed. The media in Illinois barely mentions that only five other states currently deem masks necessary. The King is always right. Everyone else is wrong.

And just like the Hans Christian Anderson fairy tale, “The Emperor has New Clothes,” this emperor has no clothes.
