My perception is that chicago has gone beyond the breaking point. The city is horribly broken and lawless. The current mayor is so inept that she not only has lost control, but didn’t realize that she was never even close to having control in the beginning. The city is spiraling down to a total disaster that will make Detroit look like a model city. It will take at least a couple of decades for a new mayor to clean up the mess.
