He might did what Newsom did prior to recall, or what Whitmer is doing now and not impose any such mandates before an election.
The fact that the Dems lost the governor seat in VA, almost in NJ, and that Polis in CO lifted their emergency measures, are more or less signs that any such measures will be detrimental.
My gut feeling is that he’s going to impose universal vaccine mandates it if he wins reelection. Two days later likely. He surrounds himself with people who are just as a militant and partisan as he is. As the election comes closer, his hyper-partisan progressive staff will become increasingly unhinged and spiteful, and actively seek vengeance against the 45-48% of the population that doesn’t vote for him.
His staff run the risk of creating a McCauliffe type situation, where he or his staff say something that riles up the normal dem voter against him.
Are welfare recipients required to get jabbed?
Not sure about welfare recipients, but I know that illegal immigrants are not.
