It was a day after two of Auburn High School students were shot and three juveniles were arrested on attempted murder charges, a day after Police Chief Carla Redd pleaded to parents to help police take guns out of the hands of youth.

I hear that authorities in Winnebago County are at least trying to fight and get ahead on crime, unlike Cook County and many of the collar counties. Hearing that the Democrat SA in Lake County had many experienced prosecutors in that office quit on him when they saw his liberal agenda. A number of those experienced pros hired on in Winnebago County. Good for Winnebago while Lake wants to trend more toward Cook County results.
