There’s some rumors and chatter that business is down, way down for Cook County restaurants and service businesses because of the vax mandate; and apparently surrounding counties are reaping the benefits. January and February are always tough months of the year for businesses because it’s after the holidays and its cold, but the mandate is supposedly driving business over county lines. At least that’s what I’m hearing from people and reading on the internet. I know of someone that went to LaGrange for dinner, got turned away because small kids in the group weren’t vaxxed. I don’t know that anyone is doing real great right now. Went out Friday and Saturday in DuPage, both restaurants were dead, not a border town though. Cook county has to be worse.
