Two things give Illinois officials optimism: a falling rate of hospitalizations and the arrival of medications proven to treat Covid-19 and dramatically reduce deaths.
Apparently not – last I read, they don’t even meet in person anymore.

Fortunately in my region (4) we reduced them long ago.

I can’t bring myself to watch this guy on purpose. I thought I heard him say on the news we’re on the way down thanks to vaccines and masks? Right after watching his commercial where he touts cutting spending and balancing the budget. I don’t even know what to say beyond that – but it was therapeutic to type it out.
More evidence that gaslighting and censorship work with a significant portion of the population. Probably could be correlated back to public school attendance and registration as a Democrat at some time.

Dramatically reduce deaths…?
More word salad (salad being something JB would never have)…
Deaths were very low to begin with…
Now, get in line simpletons & get your test …!
And get the shot & boosters or we’ll revoke your party membership…!

JB the tyrant king has an insatiable appetite for power. He likes telling people what to do, and thanks to daddy’s money, he feels he is superior to all. Quite a despicable fellow.
He won’t relinquish the reins of power anytime soon – and the legislature is willing to allow him to continue unabated. Cowards.

Let’s pray the court decides today to put a temporary restraining order on the mask mandate in schools…oh that would be the start of something good for our kids.

They’ll just keep moving the carrot. Why wasn’t their focus on treatment instead of jabs that don’t really do anything? Sure, Lightfoot said having the triple jab helped her, but how does she know that? She didn’t have a case before all the shots. Hmmm. So, why not treatment before the jabs and millions of home tests? Let’s look at the money, and where it’s flowing. More money to be made from those hand wringers who keep taking the tests, free to them, but costing the tax payers in generations to come, than treatment, IF it’s even needed. How much… Read more »
She said, in a tweet, Earlier today, I tested positive for COVID-19. I am experiencing cold-like symptoms but otherwise feel fine which I credit to being vaccinated and boosted. I will continue to work from home while following the CDC guidelines for isolation. It’s scary that a woman who fails to understand basic facts about COVID-19 and vaccination is in charge of COVID-19 health policy. First of all, Day 1 of the disease is the day she tests positive assuming she got tested as soon as she felt sick. COVID-19 always starts out mild for everyone in the first few… Read more »
Since some are said to have covid and not even know it I don’t think you can credit the vaccine for anything. 40 % of the once great state of Illinois civic deaths last week were break through. Something doesn’t add up.
If 70% of the state is vaxxed but only 40% of the deaths are from vaxxed residents, that’s good evidence that the vaccine reduces death compared to the unvaxxed. It’s not a great out come but it’s certainly better than 70% of all deaths being vaccinated patients. There’s of course more to that data – are they all old people? Are old vaccinated patients dying at lower numbers than pre-vaccine? regardless, assuming an even distribution, this is fair good news. Lori can credit her mild case to the vaccine only AFTER she has recovered because her case did not progress… Read more »

No metrics, no time line, no guide to when we can stop wearing dirty rags on our face. Just tyranny.
‘Harrumph, harrumph!’ said the old fat walrus up on the rock as he stared down at the little ones on the beach. Then the old fat walrus bellowed ‘I am the Walrus!’
A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
It will stop for the 2022 elections. Just like it did for the 2020 plandemic midterms and presidential election.
It will all fall apart on him soon enough. Look at what just happened in Great Britain.
Didn’t there use to be a General Assembly in Illinois?
