Ruling on Illinois’ school mask mandate expected soon – Center Square

Several school districts have said if the judge blocks the mandate, they may have to go into remote learning out of concerns of spreading COVID-19. Other districts have had mask optional policies all school year with little disruption. Schools without mask mandates face penalties from the state education board.

Our freedom is slowly eroding away, along with the mental health of our children. End this sham, get these masks off their faces. We cannot allow this to continue, we will lose more of our young people to suicide and drugs. If anyone wants to wear a mask, go ahead, it’s their choice to wear 2,3,4 or however many it takes to make them feel safe, I am not going to allow them to tell me what I must do to make them feel better about their paranoia.

Actually not so ‘slowly.’ In about two years we went from freedom of movement to lockdowns, masking, mandated medicine. That’s pretty darned quick!

The toll on the young is appalling. Why did the powers that be determine that in order to make adults comfortable, children have to be victimized, masked, jabbed, and generally retarded from maturing?

What society sacrifices its young to benefit the elderly? The elderly and sickly are the COVID victims, not children and young adults.

The whole situation defies logic and flies in the face of common sense.

It does not defy logic and common sense when you realize the evil agenda behind it. Then it all makes sense. We are in a spiritual battle with the Devil.

These communist freaks actually think they are helping people. That’s the scary part. They feel the moral authority to control you and your childrens’ lives, it’s for your own benefit, they tell you, and they truly believe it is.

But maybe we don’t want their or need their help.

Too bad they say, you’re going to do it anyway.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
