“We are not — and I’ve said this many times — going to manage COVID to zero,” New Jersey's governor said. “We have to learn how to live with COVID as we move from a pandemic to an endemic phase of this virus.”
Would somebody pound this into Pritzker’s head never going to be zero.

When you take a step back and see how the pandemic has been addressed across the 50 states, you can’t help but wonder why Illinois has been an outlier in heavy-handed policies and mandates. Maybe this has always been about a governor who is a walking comorbidity, afraid to contract the virus.
Because the state is run by communists from the very top all the way down to the lowest public office. They don’t view their offices as a civic duty to represent the people, but rather, as a method of effecting change against the will of the people.

Only when it’s politically expedient. It’s not politically expedient to remove the masks now because it looks forced. other states remove mask on their own terms
A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
