A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
I have no doubt that when school mask mandates do subside here – whatever that means – the initial few students who have the guts to go unmasked be vilified. Chicagoland students have been conditioned for two years to expect a masked future and the ones that veer from that will be subjected to second class citizen status until the majority of students have the guts to say enough is enough. Next elections for Naperville School Board will be a balls-out free-for-all
It sure should be. Those pompous know-it-all board members who have done so much harm should all be removed. There was never any significant risk to the children anyway. And let’s not forget the silly restrictions on sports and other valuable extra curriculum activities that have been devastated for two years, depriving so many students of those once in a life time memories.
The board members are doing that service for free and all the aggravation that they can get. So, it would be no surprise if the wish you’ve expressed suits them far more than it suits you as regards their next election cycle at least.
Bullies always try to act as if they are the victims when someone finally stands up to them. This group is no different.
Why not survey the parents of D203 and ask them about Freedom of Choice for Masking? They’re constantly sending out surveys about equality, equity, and all the other CRT stuff. Their only focus is for us to look different but all think the same. No diversity of opinions allowed.
