The story summary line and paragraph two say “the city is watching four metrics, three of which need to drop to ‘low transmission risk.'” In paragraphs 8 – 9 the target is said to be the “lower transmission” category: City officials say that once three of the preceding four metrics hit the “lower transmission” level, that will start a two-week clock, known as an “incubation cycle.”After those two weeks, if the numbers remain within the “lower transmission” category, then officials would move to remove mitigations that are in place. The city is following the science of the teachers union wishes. If Larry lifts the mandates, masks in school can be optional and teachers will melt like the snowflakes they are.
A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
