Jim Dey: "That’s impressive, especially for a chief executive who pledged his opposition to the ruthless political practice when he was running for governor in 2018. But that was then...And this is now — he’s an incumbent governor who realizes how instrumental this age-old practice can be in leveraging political power into even more political power."
No, stop. JB is full of garbage? I don’t believe it… Not to worry, MA Ahern and her moronic peers will never hold Jabba hostage to his deceit and his buffoonish policies and acts…

Gerrymandering bad when Republicans do it (according to ACLU) but good when Democrats do it.
2. This gerrymander might be a dummymander because they’ve stretched a lot of districts pretty thin based upon assumptions that the suburban/exurban Democrat gains were permanent. As we’ve seen from VA and NJ, those seats may have been only rented as conservative voters who normally don’t vote are FIRED UP right now.
A largely unasked question is becoming glaring: Is Illinois doing all it should to use artificial intelligence to make government cost less and work better? So far, the evidence says no.
