CPD Supt. Brown, Mayor Lightfoot announce measures to combat crime on, near CTA – ABC7 (Chicago)

CPD Supt. David Brown said officers will be divided into teams that will focus on gang and narcotics crimes on the transit system, as well as patrolling the busy rail lines. CPD will adjust resources from the Bureau of Counterterrorism to better address shifts in crime patterns. CTA will also expand its use of contracted security guards.
