Electric vehicles out of reach for some as mechanics, builders expect higher costs – Center Square

With the pain at the pump ongoing and no sign of it subsiding, some say the governor’s suggestion that more people buy electric vehicles is “tone deaf.”

When you are born with the platinum spoon in your mouth, make that a ladle for Pritzger, you are out of touch with the real world your entire life. $500 million trust fund at birth, guaranteed income from other family wealth, makes one totally unaware of the life of the average family.

Do they make electric minivans for families with three or more children? I don’t think they do.. How do apartment city dwellers charge an electric car if they park on the street? Extension cords? How do poor people pay $$$$ to upgrade the electrical box in their 100 year old bungalow to support the power requirements of charging an electric car? Our leaders think that these things just ‘happen’. They blow the horn of plenty and electric infrastructure just appears, and simple logistical issues – like how does an apartment dweller charge their street parked vehicle – is completely obvious… Read more »

I think I have a solution to two problems at the same time which is obesity and energy crisis.

Losing weight and transportation on the cheap. Nothing high tech or the need for foreign made chips. Just lumber/round rocks and dinosaur skins.
