With Monday’s vaccine deadline approaching, a dozen Council members demand no-firing promise from Lightfoot – Chicago Sun-Times*

“You know what we’re going through in this city right now. This is gonna be, probably, the bloodiest of all summers because we’re in lawless land right now. We just can’t afford to lose anybody right now at all,” said Ald. Anthony Napolitano, who has served the city as both a police officer and a firefighter.

This is all part of Lori’s defunding the police without formally defunding the police. Lori’s demand for vaccination isn’t about compliance, it’s about submission, and he’s firing those that refuse to submit to her will, and she doesn’t care about what happens to anyone else in the city.

You’re thinking too small scale. This is a national purge of of those who don’t support the democratic / Rino party, their agenda and vison for the future and our place in the new global order. The goal is elimination of wrong thinking individuals in all our agency’s, institutions and largest corporations. It’s truly evil and sickening and the stuff civil wars spring forth from. Lori is but a cog in a giant liberty crushing machine taking her orders from above.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
