Too bad the kids doing the poetry slam didn’t name all the officers who died in the line of duty. It would be a much longer … year-to-date 2022 the count stands at more than 60 dead officers. Most died at the hands of criminals in the act. That the children stated in their ‘slam,’ and obviously believe, that the only reason those named died was because of the color of their skin is appalling.
