I sure hope they pick Chicago. I can just see it now, all the hustlers making preparations to have a “peaceful protest” and then afterwards the ensuing riots. That would be a great convention with all the attendees holed up in their hotel rooms. That will really show the dem’s how well their policies work. Guaranteed there will be some high profile murder/shooting right before the convention to make all the attendees uneasy. Wonder if the policing strategy will change during the convention.

I’m surprised at this thought, what with all the Trump supporters – just ask Jussie

Maybe Chicago won’t even exist in 2024.
If Adolf Putler has his way and turns the key on the nukes.

Not a bad idea as long as they flood the city with the same level of security used for the 2012 Chicago NATO meetings.

I think the Republicans should come to Chicago to plant a flag and claim it. Chicago was the birthplace of the Republican party. These blue states are only “blue” by a 60/40 or closer split and the seething anger of the tax payers in these states like Illinois is ripe for political upheaval, assuming the elections are not cheated with mail ballot stuffing.

Yes, I feel the same way, but then return to reality when I see people wearing masks outdoors. They won’t be voting Republican in 2022.

Doesn’t matter, it’s to just say we claim this and it will hopefully get all the suburban soccer moms and closet conservatives who just dont vote off their dead arses. Maybe if they saw an emboldened Republican party in Illinois instead of the do nothing party we currently have they’d feel like voting mattered.

Seeing masked adults and kids just grinds on me. What are they thinking? Are they thinking? Or has the fear porn changed a vital part of who they are?

They have the right to wear whatever they choose, as do I.

One way or the other, thieves are enjoying the heck out of masking. What a great boon for criminals! That and Lil’ Kimmie.

Why not come to the City where the Democrats learnt to steal elections.

Makes sense. They will steal it again in 2024.

Mayor Daley sure taught about elections in the Kennedy Nixon election…nothing has changed

Why not, Chicago is symbolic of their platform. Murders up, carjackings up, Juicy Smallett, police defunding, criminals get out of jail, deeply in debt, masks forever, mandatory jabs, crooked elections, corrupt politicians, a dying downtown, segregation, taxes taxes taxes. What better way to showcase the platform!

The Dems need to prop up the sh!thole that is Chicago. They’ll drop a boatload of cash here and run shuttles between the UC and the BO Center for daily worship of their messiah. What are the odds that Dementia Joe takes a pass and the Dems nominate another Obama?

Pretty much all large, liberal cities are a mess, but Dems have to meet somewhere. Might as well be Chicago.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
