Lawmakers set to send Pritzker ‘ghost gun’ registry bill – Center Square

On the final day of spring session Saturday morning, the Illinois General Assembly approved House Bill 4383 which goes further than President Joe Biden’s rule. The Illinois measure would require built-from-scratch firearms for personal use that aren’t transferred to be registered.

‘Ghost Gun’ is yet another made-up term from Democrats to make it appear as though they are accomplishing something. Ranks right up there with other Democrat fantasies, such as ‘Assault Rifle’, ‘Putin’s Price Hike’, ‘Wage Gap’, and ‘Climate Emergency’. All equally bogus, with some further down the farcical rabbit hole than others. The real story is the Alphabet Media dutifully regurgitating these terms via DNC press releases and scripted fake ‘press conferences’ unchallenged. The party of the working people have forgotten how far advance this society has become. Fatso’s friends cannot control the manufacture of submachine guns (smg) by the Palestian resistance. The Danish resistance was able to build Sten smgs under the noses of the Nazis. The Phillipinos have thousands of Paltik Boy smgs built from scrap metal. Luty’s book describing building a functional smg from common hardware store items without a machine shop? The book… Read more »

No such thing as a ghost gun. It’s a term being used to scare people. The guns used in crimes are usually stolen anyway, what effect will this bill truly have? When will they start prosecuting and enforcing the sentences given to those who break the guns laws already in place, even Federal gun laws. I suggest we start with Joe Biden’s son who lied on his application stating he doesn’t have a drug problem. Stop trying to placate the voters, though, for those who get their news via Tik Tok, it seems to be working.

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. Audio here.
