Former Oakbrook Terrace Mayor Anthony Ragucci charged in red light camera bribery scheme – CBS2 (Chicago)

The charges do not identify the red light camera company involved in the case, but according to published reports, the company is SafeSpeed, which has been connected to multiple other cases involving SafeSpeed representatives paying bribes to local politicians.

The red light cameras at the Rte 83 and 22nd Street intersection were a joke from day one. There isn’t even a pedestrian crosswalk at that intersection. Throw the book at this guy and make sure it hits him in the head.
