Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. Metra is just another corrupt Illinois institution. The transit agencies are just another means to dole out patronage jobs. Don’t think so? Try and get a job there. They “…don’t see nobody nobody sent.” What would you expect from them? Common sense? With all the inbred political hires, common sense is utterly lacking at Metra and the CTA. Everyone knows that laws don’t apply to Chicago. We’re “special” here. Like not being allowed to legally carry on public transportation, so that their precious Democrat voters don’t get shot while they’re robbing or maiming riders.
Remember the three core tenants of Dem governance:
1) Never admit you’re wrong about anything. Ever.
2) They don’t like themselves.
3) They like you even less.
Act accordingly.

CTA should require passengers to wear bullet proof vests
Metra announces on their trains that per federal guidelines masks are required. Now even though that was stricken they’re still going to require masks, wtf.
