Harmon defends ending cash bail, says ‘we funded police’ – WCIA (Champaign)

“Democrats have a long tradition of actually being responsible with taxpayer dollars, though Republicans have done a much better job of portraying themselves as the fiscal watchdogs,” Senate President Don Harmon said. “But I think our actions speak louder than their words, and our balanced budget this year is the best that I’ve seen in 20 years.”

The fact that he said this with a straight face in Illinois is evidence that he is mentally disturbed!

Just look at what went on in Chicago this last weekend, chaos. Unruly crowds of hundreds of “minorities” at the Bean disrupting traffic, damaging cars, fighting with cops. Wrigleyville, repeat with the same demographic. Old Town, fighting with cops, guns recovered, multiple fights etc. and the same demographic. 41 people shot, 7 dead. Democraps cannot control the base of their party, democraps cannot rein in the violence of their base. Pass and support more of these ridiculous easy on crime laws and say hello to Detroit part 2.

Oddly the city and county are run by blacks, yet they all declare that ‘systemic racism’ is rampant.

Huh? You’re running the darned show, figure it out! We deserve SO much better than you’re delivering.

They allow this to happen on purpose. No one with real power in the city cares that this kind of stuff happens. These event are merely the ‘shock troops’ of the regime blowing off steam. Antifa waiting behind the scenes for the right moment to move to the front of the riot and direct the mayhem into a politically advantageous direction.

I fear you’re deadnuts right on this one, Debstor.

Time to leave the Chicagoland area for good.

If it all shakes out okay at some point, perhaps our great great great grandkids can return to the area, but it will never again be the great city by the lake that I loved.

I mourn her slow death and eventual passing.

Harmon is a clown. The voters see very well how woke liberal policies are working. The largest city in the state is an unmitigated disaster. Violence is rampant. You can’t drive your car anywhere without fear some armed lowlife will point a gun at your head and take it. The evidence is right there for everyone to see Don. There won’t be anymore federal money coming after November, so your budget is a one and done phenomenon. You’re done.
