Illinois lawmakers respond to leaked Supreme Court abortion decision – IL Newsroom

“It’s not just that they’re taking away reproductive rights,” Pritzker said. “It’s that this is a slope that they’re headed down that is going to take away all of the rights that were granted as a result of the right to privacy. It’s a constitutional right to privacy, determined by the court 50 years ago and reinforced along the way, and now they’re taking it away.”

If it’s OK to get Supreme Court notes before an official decision is made, why can’t I get a copy my school district’s teacher contract before it’s signed?

Actually, it’s not OK to get Supreme Court notes before the decision is made. I agree with you on the teacher contract, though.

Sanctimonious bag of wind Pritzker hasn’t met a fact that he couldn’t turn into a lie. This whole thing was orchestrated by the liberal media, liberal administration and the liberal justices of the SCOTUS. How else can you explain the immediate widespread media coverage as soon as the leak surfaced. Seeing the tandem of Don Lemon and tyrant Pritzker discuss the ramifications would have been frightening, but who watches CNN anymore? Two more loathsome characters would be difficult to find.

Although a ‘draft’ the ruling removes the outlandish Roe v Wade ‘root and branch’. Bork called it long ago.

Pritzker, just another lying, bloviating Leftist Democrat – who cares.

I’m far more concerned with the breach of confidentiality at SCOTUS. This is an egregious act by someone determined to damage the integrity of the highest court in the land.

Hopefully the perpetrator will be disbarred and prosecuted, but I’m not counting on it.

If overturned states will be empowered to make the decision based on the will of its citizens – as it should be.

This will be the GREAT opportunity for IL to become the go-to state for gambling, drugs, and abortions. That must be Pritzker’s plan to save IL from Democrat-created problems.

It will be interesting how deep Roberts will let the investigation go. He’s concerned about the privacy of how the court does its business and if the F.B.I. investigates, they could interview justices, their clerks, and other court personnel. The investigation could also include e-mails, text messages, and phone records outside of the courts internal network of all the above individuals and perhaps even spouses of the justices. I’m guessing the justices may not be in favor of those intrusions to find the leaker.

No serious consequence will befall the perp as they will be hired by Planned Parenthood, ACLU, or MSNBC.

And yet no one is bothered about how this was leaked? This is a very useful distraction given Hunter’s laptop, sky high inflation, Biden and Pelosi, along with our own Kinzinger, focusing on getting us into war with Russia, the wrecked state of the southern border and the elections this fall. Don’t let this distract us and deter our goal of taking back our country and our children. It’s also getting to be looting and burning season, they’re not letting this “crisis” go to waste.

The left create the problems that they believe only the left can fix…

I also believe it’s a distraction from the 2000 Mules movie that was just released…

While this is pure speculation, one of Breyer’s law clerk’s is a hard core crazy abortion supporters, who just happens to be married to a journalist, who just happens to be friends with Josh Gerstein, the reporter who wrote the story. There’s a wedding photo floating around out there of Josh Gertein, the law clerk (bride) & the groom (journalist). Now, MAYBE, this is all a coincidence – the SWAMP is SWAMPY and incestuous….but this is clearly an angle to explore. But dang, they aren’t joking about the swamp, everyone is one or two degrees away from each other.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. Audio here.
