Illinois bill would no longer require vehicles to have front license plates – FOX32 (Chicago)

A big push for the bill is that it could save the state $800,000 a year in plate production and preserve the styling of newer and classic cars.

Take a look at license plates from Texas or Indiana. They are made from a durable plastic(?) or a composite material that doesnt rust, fade, peel or fall apart. Illinois, metal rust bucket plates made by some politicians relative.

Yeah, that’s a real reason to require a front plate. If you are truly an ex Illini, the school has obviously lowered its admission requirements.
