Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension. Deterioration? LOL, these people (other than Lori, at least publicly) think this is utopia! Fewer BIPOC arrests, fewer BIPOC convictions, less BIPOC incarceration, less police presence, fewer black men being shot by police. To them, this is exactly what they want.
Increased crime and embolden criminals is irrelevant, doesn’t matter, who even cares, all that matters is that they’ve taken steps to reform the systemically racist criminal justice system!
It’s apostasy to the woke, but obvious that the majority of crimes, shootings, carjackings, etc. are perpetrated by blacks. Most of the shootings are black on black. Videos of riots, looting and mobs are primarily if not exclusively black. Annually more whites than blacks are shot by cops, but every cop-on-black shooting is a new flashpoint for ‘systemic racism,’ something that doesn’t exist, except in the minds of the woke. There’s a culture of violence that’s permeated blue cities engaged in social justice because justice is now race-based and a political tool.
