Illinois drivers pay 54 cents more per gallon than rest of U.S. ahead of July 4 travel – Illinois Policy

The average price of a gallon of gas June 29 in Illinois was $5.41 – 54 cents higher than the national average of $4.87, but 87 cents higher than neighboring Missouri. Chicago drivers were paying $5.96.

It was $4.39 at Casey’s by Beloit Memorial hospital. A new Kwik Mart opened across the street so probably a gas war for a while. By the expressway in Beloit $4.59 to $4.79

Gas at a Wisconsin station near me was $0.60 cents a gallon cheaper. 11 gallons @ $0.60 saved me $6.60. JB and the con men in Illinois will save me $2.00 when I buy 100 gallons. Do the math.

Thanks to the combined efforts of Biden and Pritzker – neither of whom have likely pumped their own gas in eons. Or paid for it with money they worked for.
