A musket is a weapon of war. It’s been a weapon of war since the early 16th century. The founding fathers approved of weapons of war, and thus would approve of today’s gun laws.

There is no such thing as Gun violence! There is violence committed with a gun by a criminal. But no gun ever killed someone by itself.
When round boy gives up his armed security I might then listen to anything he says but that will never happen.

A musket was the soldiers main weapon then, just like the soldier of today uses an automatic weapon.

Me thinks JB speaks out of both sides of his mouth. Forever pandering to a base in Cook County where gun violence reigns supreme, and where police have been sidelined by all elected leaders, including himself. What’s wrong JB, don’t want to go in there and tell POC you’re taking their assault weapons? You are a coward of the highest order, and little more than a political poser. Don’t put words into the mouths of the founding fathers, and while you’re at it, don’t belittle their weapon of choice. The musket was an incredibly vicious weapon.

JB the Hutt, our corpulent governor has to be aware that the musket was the assault rifle of its day.

Excessive high fructose corn syrup consumption has warped his donut-addled brain.

If fatty and his ilk want to change it, then let’s have a Constitutional convention and allow all the States to chime in. Until then, pound sand and stop commoditizing events for your teams political benefit.

Uniquely American? Get the F outta here. I hear stories of mass shootings by cartels on a nearly daily basis just south of the border in Mexico. The cartels sometimes hang the bodies from overpasses with messages and taunts directed to authorities and/or rival cartels. The rest of Latin America is crazy violent as is much of Africa. Johannesburg beats Chicago for crime and Chicago is out of control. JB is nothing more than a fat, lazy slob. He is a liar, he knows nothing, and he’s a total fraud.

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
