Duckworth calls out Big Oil amid high inflation – WICS (Springfield)

"(T)oday’s economic report makes one thing crystal clear: despite oil prices falling 20% late last month, oil executives are still refusing to fully pass along those savings to working Americans," U.S. Senator Tammy Duckworth wrote in a statement. "And Big Oil will only continue to pocket outrageous profits from Putin’s war of choice if we let them, which is why we need to pass my legislation to finally ban gas price gouging during an international crisis."

She’s a Dem team player – forget the constituents, just support the party’s talking points.

Hope you’re political history … soon. Bah!

Tammy Duckworth is as useful as tits on a bull. Actually she is less useful than that.

Tammy Duckworth is what happens when you disregard ability, intelligence, experience, and education — and replace it with race/gender quotas and identity-politics box-checking. You get virtue signaling retards that are less than useless at their job.

Dimwit Duckworth opens her mouth to ensure we know she isn’t very bright. She understands nothing about the global oil market. Sit down and be quiet Tammy. Please.

Does she think we are this stupid? The spot price of oil falls a few dollars several weeks ago and refined gasoline is supposed to fall lockstep with the spot price? She may be so dumb she doesn’t understand economics. Or she’s really worried about her senate seat. Carol Mosley Braun lost her seat to a republican in a wave year…and Mark Kirk took Obama’s seat too…

Mark Glennon on AM560’s Morning Answer: Chicago pension buyout plan mostly shifts debt rather than eliminating it, property tax surge doubles inflation over three decades

Chicago’s political leadership is floating a pension buyout program as evidence it is seriously addressing the city’s thirty-six-billion-dollar unfunded pension liability, but Mark Glennon, founder of the Illinois policy research organization Wirepoints, said that the proposal moves debt from one column to another rather than reducing it, and that the broader fiscal picture facing the city continues to deteriorate across every measurable dimension.
